Description

A vulnerability has been reported in Apache Qpid, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the broker authentication mechanism when handling shadow connections from AMQP clients and can be exploited to authenticate as a AMQP broker by sending a specially crafted NullAuthenticator request.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.18.
