Exposure of sensitive informationVulnerabilities where documents or credentials are leaked or can be revealed either locally or from remote. Manipulation of dataThis includes vulnerabilities where a user or a remote attacker can manipulate local data on a system, but not necessarily be able to gain escalated privileges or system access. | Description |
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in OTRS (Open Ticket Request System), which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks, and by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system. 1) Unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation allows to read or modify records in the database and gain escalated privileges, but requires agent or customer privileges. These vulnerabilities are reported in OTRS version 2.1.x through 2.4.6. 2) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject and execute shell commands. This vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.3.5. |
| Solution |
